If you are new to exercise, we suggest checking with your family doctor to make sure it is safe for you to do so.
We recommend starting small in the beginning and focusing on making it a routine. There are many great resources in the fitness section of the Library to help you increase your daily movement.
Once you get comfortable and your confidence increases, you can gradually increase the time, change the exercise, or change the frequency. The 6 Week Fitness Plan will help guide you with this! Make sure to select "beginner" when first starting so that the program will build an appropriate fitness plan for you.
